About the Artist
Daniela Drescher is an internationally acclaimed author and illustrator from Munich, Germany. She began her career as a children's painting and drawing therapist, a role she embraced for ten years before transitioning to creating children's books. Her work is deeply inspired by nature and her desire to engage children with the natural world. She resides in southern Germany, where her vibrant garden and the enchanting characters from her stories keep her company while she works.

Among her beloved creations is Griswald the Gnome, a character who embarks on gentle adventures that explore themes of kindness, curiosity, and the wonders of nature.
